be vewy quiet...

Add to my job description:

entymologist/epidemiologist.

Captured a bedbug in the classroom, crawling on Sh--'s pant leg. (Then of course dealt with the fallout from the trauma of the finding of the bedbug all day.) Just one of the many glamorous sidebars of teaching in a densely populated urban setting... Who would've thought that good ol' PS OO would be so teaming with life! Working there has exposed me to a wide variety of biologically diverse organisms, which besides bedbugs includes mice, cockroaches, water bugs (latin name: Godzillus maximus), pigeons that fly in windows, and lice. And all of these I have experienced in a very, shall we say, up close and personal way.

Ah, the rich tapestry of life! The miracle of the natural world!
